Since Gavin's first exhibition in June 2014 Gavin knew that he wanted to pursue his career to be a successful artist. The location was in St. Martin's Square in Leicester, and this led to press recognition.
The images below demonstrates newpaper's articles, Gavin's paintings hung in the De Montfort University Library, Gavin infront of his drawing of London (professionally framed) in the former art gallery in Leicester where Gavin successfully sold this drawing. In September of 2016 Gavin rented an empty shop for a fortnight where postcards were on sale. Gavin felt proud of these opportunities and now needs support in arranging more exhibitions to show his paintings and animations. The journey since graduating from his Masters degree in Fine Art in January 2017 has been up and down and of course Covid-19 cause a halt in his future ambitions. Support in promoting, arranging exhibitions, selling paintings with packing them up and posting the products would be appreciated.
Gavin's friends works during the week and his support workers has limited time, which causes frustration for Gavin to achieve his ambitions. His articulation dyspraxia sets a weakness in Gavin's career in calling up galleries and artists. The dream is to carry a portfolio into a art gallery and sell myself with confidence which demonstrates in his artwork,
Professor Martin Richardson who is a Hologram expert who I highly recommend seeing his phenomenal Holograms and no wonder Professor Richardson worked with late singer David Bowie. Professor Richardson holds a collection of several Gavin's masterpieces, and Gavin would love businesses and famous people to invest into his interesting paintings.
